Overview

Mutual Médica is a desktop web application in creation to streamline internal workflows for employees.
The platform serves as a centralized hub where staff can easily manage and review all customer contracts. From the very beginning, my team and I shaped both the visual experience and the product structure — crafting a clean, intuitive interface and developing a scalable design system that ensures consistency, efficiency, and room for future growth.

My Role

  • Shaping the UX as we go: Alongside my team, I’m working on defining user flows for new features suggested by the business team, making sure they respond to real employee needs and fit into existing workflows.

  • Applying the brand through components: I’ve been responsible for translating the brand identity into the interface, deciding how elements like inputs, buttons, and forms behave and look across the platform.

  • Building a living design system: Together, we’re developing a design system that grows with the product — setting clear rules, reusable components, and patterns that support consistency without limiting flexibility.

Starting a design system from scratch was one of the most enriching parts of this project. It meant thinking carefully about every detail—how it would scale, adapt, and stay consistent over time. Seeing it grow while applying it to real user flows made the process feel alive, not just theoretical. It taught how powerful a well-built system can be when it truly supports both design and functionality.
